ITrip Vacations, a destination rental and property management company with more than 50 franchises in 16 states plus Puerto Rico and British Columbia, already had a team and strategy in place when Harns Media arrived, but their plan had become too large and cumbersome to manage adequately in-house. Our implementation and marketing approach recorded a win-win for the client, with our favorable results allowing iTrip’s team to focus on strategic partnerships and franchise relationships.
Utilizing the power of multiple social media platforms, Harns unleashed a battery of effective tools to bring about mammoth increases in iTrip’s overall exposure on the social media giant Facebook, creating custom images, videos, posting the client’s latest news, and celebrating expansions into new markets. In just one year, Harns increased iTrip Vacations’ page likes from 1,119 to 4,043—a jump of 261 percent! Total user engagement with the iTrip page nearly doubled, going from 51,207 to 95,217. Totaled for the year, people who viewed the page and its posts in their news feeds increased more than two million, to 9,343,915.
Posting on average three to four times per day, Harns rocked the Twittersphere for iTrip Vacations, tagging businesses within the various rental markets and ultimately increasing our client’s average engagement rate by 700 percent. Most importantly, Harns Media drove significantly more link clicks beyond the previous period by 1,708 percent!
Harns further grew iTrip Vacations’ metrics with other popular social media sites, doubling the number of average daily impressions this past year on Pinterest to 24,947 and increasing iTrip’s followers on Instagram by 102 percent.
